Fire Escape

When I was in New York City in Summer 07, I took a series of fire escapes. I shot most of them with an angle that shows the steps of the ladder in a horizontal or vertical line instead of diagonal, as you would see it standing in front of the building. 

I like the shifted the view onto the structure and I regret that I did not took more pictures. Unfortunately by that time I did not own a wide angle lens which would allow me to shoot larger parts of the fasade. I guess, I need to return to Manhattan to doit again...
